Any changes will only apply to future bookings. Confirmed bookings will always remain at the agreed price unless otherwise stated.

A Meet & Greet may be required before your booking is confirmed.
This allows us to:
- Meet you and your pet(s)
- Discuss routines and care requirements
- Assess whether the requested service is suitable
- Answer any questions before your booking begins
Snuggle Sitters reserves the right to decline or withdraw services if a pet is considered unsafe or unsuitable for the requested service.

To provide the highest standard of care, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information about each pet.
- Inform us of any medical conditions, behavioural concerns or dietary requirements.
- Supply sufficient food, medication, bedding and equipment.
- Provide emergency contact details.
- Inform us of any alarm systems, access arrangements or third-party access.
- Ensure dogs comply with current UK legislation, including microchipping and identification requirements.
Failure to provide accurate information may result in services being refused or cancelled.
5. Health, Welfare & Veterinary Care
Your pet’s welfare will always be our highest priority.
Owners confirm that pets are fit to receive care and that all relevant medical information has been disclosed.
Where emergency veterinary treatment is required, Snuggle Sitters will always attempt to contact the owner or emergency contact first. If this is not possible, we reserve the right to seek appropriate veterinary treatment in the best interests of your pet.
All veterinary fees and associated costs remain the owner’s responsibility unless they arise directly through negligence by Snuggle Sitters.
Medication will be administered in accordance with the owner’s instructions, however, Snuggle Sitters cannot accept responsibility for adverse reactions to medication supplied by the owner.
6. Behaviour & Safety
Owners must disclose any behavioural concerns including aggression, reactivity, anxiety, escape tendencies or biting history.
Snuggle Sitters reserves the right to refuse or end services where a pet presents a risk to itself, our staff or members of the public.
Walks, outdoor activities and routines may be amended during extreme weather or where conditions are considered unsafe.
7. Accessing Your Home
Clients are responsible for providing safe access to their property.
Keys, alarm codes and access information will be handled securely and confidentially.
Clients must disclose any CCTV, video doorbells or recording devices before the booking begins.
Cameras must not be positioned in private areas used by the sitter, such as bedrooms or bathrooms.
8. Delays & Emergency Care
If your return home is delayed, Snuggle Sitters will make reasonable efforts to continue caring for your pet where availability allows.
Additional care will be charged at the applicable rate.
Owners must provide an emergency contact who can make decisions or collect their pet if required.
9. Insurance & Liability
Snuggle Sitters maintains appropriate business insurance.
While every reasonable care is taken, Snuggle Sitters cannot accept responsibility for incidents resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the owner.
Owners remain responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pet unless negligence by Snuggle Sitters can be demonstrated.

With your permission, photographs and videos of your pet may be used on our website and social media.
You may withdraw your consent at any time.

2.4 Dog Welfare & Safety
Your dog’s welfare will always take priority over the planned schedule.
Snuggle Sitters reserves the right to amend or withdraw services if a dog becomes distressed, unwell, aggressive or if continuing would compromise the welfare of the dog, staff or members of the public.
Activities including walks, photography sessions and outdoor attendance may be adjusted due to:
- Hot weather
- Heavy rain
- Storms
- Ice or snow
- Venue restrictions
- Any circumstance affecting the dog’s welfare
Brachycephalic breeds and dogs with additional medical requirements will receive appropriate adjustments where necessary.
2.5 Staff Allocation
Wedding Dog Chaperones are allocated according to experience and the individual needs of each dog.
Whilst requests for specific team members are welcomed, they cannot be guaranteed.
Your allocated chaperone will usually be confirmed approximately three months before your wedding.
Should your allocated chaperone become unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, Snuggle Sitters will provide an experienced replacement wherever possible.
If you choose not to proceed following this change, a refund of 50% of the total booking value will be issued.
2.6 Collection & Handover
Collection and return arrangements will be agreed during your consultation and confirmed before the wedding.
A responsible adult must be available at the agreed collection and handover times.
Late handovers caused by the client may incur an additional charge of £25 per hour (or part thereof).
If nobody is available at the agreed return time, additional care charges will apply until handover is completed.
